The law company Pavlenko  Legal  Group was successfully registered in the Transparency Register.

Work in this area is on the border of jurisprudence, politics and communications that is in the Government Relations (GR) sector. The law company Pavlenko Legal Group, which in 2017 was officially recognized as the “Best Law Firm in the field of GR”, decided to enhance their positions in the European region and successfully registered in the Transparency Register, thereby confirming its transparency and official work in the field of civilized lobbying of business and political interests of Ukraine-EU.

The mission of this register is to open professional organizations working in the field of lobbying and GR, access to European institutions, such as the European Commission, including official communications with the euro commissioners on legislative changes and regulations needed to improve the business climate of Ukraine- EU.

The more open the process of lobbying of business interests in Europe, the easier it is to avoid illegal or privileged access to information or decision-makers in the EU. Transparency and obtaining official access will provide Pavlenko Legal Group Clients with the legality of promoting their interests in European institutions. The European Parliament and the European Commission tend to be open about the groups and organizations with which they interact.

Transparency Register was created to answer the main questions: which interests, whom and with what budgets are persecuted in the EU? The system works together with the European Parliament and the European Commission.

Over the past several years, Ukrainian business has been increasingly trying to discover the opportunities of the European region, while a foreign investor is actively interested in Ukrainian assets as objects for investment. Mutual interests, as well as decisions made by European institutions, such as the European Commission and the European Parliament, affect not only the interests of EU member states, but also its associated partners, including Ukraine. Concerning this, Ukrainian business recently need to intently observe the decisions made in the field of trade relations, exports, customs regulations and other issues related to business opportunities in the EU. Foreign investors increasingly need professional support on the territory of Ukraine that would consist of risk assessment, legal component and communications with government agencies and negotiations with the authorities on the implementation of major investment projects.

“For us, as for the legal company that provides services, including in the area of Government Relations, it is quite important to have truly open and transparent activities. Projects that we accompany in Ukraine are held on the border of jurisprudence and politics. For a long time this activity remained in the shadow for Ukraine due to the lack of a civilized approach to work and legislation on lobbying. We try to introduce a professional legal component and an excellent knowledge of the “state machine”. We speak about this publicly and act by all permitted methods in the spirit of a European understanding of lobbying. Currently, quite a few of potential investors come from abroad, they are all used to the application of GR-tools and it is extremely important for us to consolidate our positions in the European public-affairs-space as a company that is doing its work openly, “said the managing partner, Oleksandra Pavlenko.
